September 19, 2010.
September 19th 2010 will definitely be a day that I will always remember.
The day started off hectic, as all Jonas Brother Concert days do. I was at Bianca’s house so her, Melissa and I were all rushing to take showers, put on make-up, find the perfect outfit and do other things that girls do all at the same time. We then left to pick up Alyssa and head to Long Beach. Here are some major events that happened throughout my day.
- 1. Road Dogs Game – Honestly not worth the horrible looking sunburn that I have on my back. I thought that the game was bullshit because I felt like the team playing against the Jonas Brothers let them win and Joe Jonas needed to be kicked off the team because he put no effort in whatsoever and he couldn’t even bat properly. The only plus side was that I saw Nick looking all sexy and fabulous in his baseball uniform.
- 2. When we got to Irvine we decided to grab some lunch at Burger King and 7-11. We walked in to the 7-11 and Honor Society was in there. I thought I was going to faint because that is another one of my favorite bands. We all got pictures and casually talked about their next album. (Oh what I would have given to have been tooted and booted in the 7-11 bathroom by Andrew.) Lol.
- 3. Concert time: Bianca and I ended up sneaking up closer. We had Orch 3 Row J which is pretty good but I wanted to be in front of the catwalk, so that is exactly where I ended up. Throughout the Camp Rock and Demi set I was on the side of the catwalk and I ended up having my hand grabbed by Mdot and Demi.
When the Jonas Brothers were setting up for their set Melissa and Katie saw us from their seats and snuck down to where we were at but by the time the Jonas Brothers had played their second song we had all been kicked out and told by security to go back to our seats. However I am not a quitter and I would not settle for anything other than catwalk so Bianca and I ended up sneaking up to directly in front of the catwalk which was so much better than where we were before. So basically all I do is win win win.
Our view was absolutely incredible. I have never been so happy at cheating my way through something. I honestly loved life. And I’m not saying that if I was in the far back I would have hated the show or that I would have not had as much fun because I have been in the back and I still loved every second of the concert. It’s just that I have never been directly in front of the catwalk and I literally looked them in the eyes.
I loved every song that they played in their set. And since I was so close there was one point where Nick was right in front of me and I pulled out my insulin pump and waved it in the air smiling (LOL. I sound lame.) and he looked at me smiling and nodded his head. If you refuse to believe me ask Bianca because she saw it too and we both freaked out afterwards.
At the end of the show they play Burning Up and I decided that I needed to Nut up or Shut up. I have always wanted to go on stage during a Jonas Brothers concert so that is what I did. Yes. I jumped on stage. It was only for like five seconds but it was amazing. I just danced around and spun in circles until I got thrown into Bianca’s camera. It was so worth it. I cannot even describe to you how I feel. I managed to jump on stage with a huge security guard right next to me and I didn’t die.
- 5. After the Jonas Brothers concert there was so much traffic in the parking lot that the car was not moving. Melissa put on the Jonas Brothers and we blasted it. Then Katie, Bianca, Melissa and I all got out of the car and danced around her car singing the songs. We even got people in other cars to sing along. It was so fun.
Why was it the best night ever?
Because Nick sang Your Biggest Fan and they sang Please Be Mine (which is my all time favorite Jonas song and it is never played at concerts. And because off the Nick nod. Oh and because of #5.
